Responsible Research now Part of Sustainalytics Global Team

On June 29, 2012 Sustainalytics acquired Responsible Research, the Singapore-based research firm focused on the environmental, social and governance performance of Asian companies. The addition of the Responsible Research team is another step in Sustainalytics’ commitment to provide its clients with global coverage that is supported by insightful, regional expertise. Clients will be better able to fulfill their responsible investment mandates thanks to our enhanced coverage of Asian and emerging market companies.

Responsible Research has published in-depth research on a number of industries and sectors including palm oil, telecom and pharmaceuticals. The have also produced commissioned reports on specialist topics with key investor partners. Their report on marine sustainability, The Future of Fish in Asia, was the winner of the prestigious 2011/2012 Farsight Award, selected from a pool of 117 entries.
