For the third year in a row, climate change has topped the World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report. Climate change dominates as the risk that is most likely to be realized, and also one that has the highest impact. This WEF report follows on the heels of an IPCC special report released last year that detailed the impact on the world economy of global warming of 1.5 degrees above pre-industrial levels, and outlined the unprecedented changes needed across society to limit global warming to the 1.5-degree target.
